Small Business Week 2017, which runs October 16-20, pays tribute to the contributions that small business make to the Canadian economy (those that are less than 100 employees).
For the fourth straight year, the Calgary Chamber partnered with ATB Business to launch SmallBusinessWeekCalgary.com - the single-largest touch point for all events and activities relating to Small Business Week in Calgary. Think of this website as an easy-to-access hub where everything – and anything – that has to do with Small Business Week is available, making it easier for the Calgary's business community to connect with the activity they want to check out.
Host a learning workshop
If you're a larger company looking to connect with a small business audience, you're in the right place. This website lets larger companies who either offer services useful to small businesses or are interested in hosting an event relevant to a small business audience to post what they are doing online where it will get noticed and attended by the right type of people.
It's quite simply the easiest way to get directly in touch with the largest small business audience in Calgary.
Find an event to grow your business
Small Business Week is an excellent opportunity for small companies to learn, network and socialize with their peers. The range of events available to check out includes networking events, learning workshops, trade show expos, open houses and the Small Business Week Calgary Awards presentation.
Attend the Small Business Calgary Conference
The two biggest events of #SBWYYC are the Small Business Calgary Showcase and the Small Business Calgary Awards show, both of which will be held on Thursday October 19, 2017 at the BMO Centre. This event typically attracts upwards of 800 people.
